    Bracketing DSLR v Bridge

Hi, I have had my DSR for a few months now and what suprises me is that when using the various bracketing settings it seems i have to take 3 actual pictures. Now my Fuji S9500 camera allows auto bracketing where one only needs to take 1 picture and it produces 3 images of different variation...

    Standard Zoom for Nikon D90.

i'd go for a second hand Nikon 18-200MM F3.5-5.6G IF-ED AF-S VR DX, can be had for around £350-£400, same as the kit lens at the WA end but with a bit of extra range, good walk about and that bit extra for your sports! Its a popular lens so cant be bad!!

Budget 70-300mm zoom for Nikon D90

Cheers Rob that would certainly help....... thanks guys, the links show some cracking pics. Seems the Nikon 70-300 VR is a respectable lens for the money but it retails over £350 with is still over my budget at the moment (4 kids and xmas dont allow Dad much spending money) so its gonna end up...

Budget 70-300mm zoom for Nikon D90

i'd like to see 2 identical pics to be honest 1 showing a pic on a budget 70-300 and one on a more expensive 70-300 zoom, i know build will be different but its the pic at end of day that counts for me, basically something that justifies £250+ difference ,does that make sense?

Can someone that may have one possibly advise/help me I'm wanting a budget zoom. I have been looking at the Nikon/sigmas/tamrons all budget and i know they are cheap build/optics etc etc. Could some of you post some pics taken with these "cheap zooms" to help me decide which to go for...

    D3000 or e-450

bare in mind the nikon also needs motorised lenses for autofocus to work, live view is not a main reason to buy imo, its still a newish function of DSLRs anyway and tbh i usually use the viewfinder. I.S is a better function than Live View especially as a beginner because you may not think about...

    Nikon D90 kit lens opinions

I use the 50mm now and then, its good for the DOF control but generally the kit lens is used, The pic of my daughter was lifeless without the flash so whilst using Ap priority mode i just turned on the flash and it bought the colours and skin tones to life.

    very first SLR

Best to pop to a local shop and have a feel of the cameras in your price range but if you want something for beginners have a look at the Nikon D3000, has a clean looking user friendly Guide Menu although no live View ( SLR terminology for using LCD to compose a picture) it is aimed at those...
