Remote trigger options for Sony A6100

I was surprised to discover I couldn't just use any old Bluetooth tigger button with the.... then I remembered... Sony camera. I did a bit of research, mostly pointing me to Sony remote trigger devices which are little limiting. Let me explain. I want digital access to that trigger. I want...

    Wow. (The mach loop 4k)

As an interesting aside. Compare the above to a modern day "home" "game". DCS World. Almost certainly the pinnacle of modern air combat simulation. The "cinematography" in these guys demos and yearly reviews are amazing, with amazing choice of music. In terms of realism, they sell it to a...

Wide angle lens dof expansion and speed perception.

Indeed. That is what has been so frustrating about the whole thing. Everyone thinks I'm doing 20+mph. At the start of the video I AM doing 20+mph, based on how long it takes me to pass the red 107 in frames / framerate. It worked out about 22mph. But I'm slowing constantly on 2nd gear...

Wide angle lens dof expansion and speed perception.

I did a bit of reading up. So the Sony APS-C crop sensor has a conversion factor of 1.53, which means a 35mm lens should give the equivalent of a 50mm lens.

Wide angle lens dof expansion and speed perception.

I had a very minor bump in the car, into a kerb, avoiding an idiot. I, probably stupidly, posted the footage. Most people said I was going too fast. I know for a fact I was not. I even used the stopping distance to work out, that if I was doing 20mph+ as people suggested my deceleration...

Gamma, Dynamic Range and modern digital content.

As these things go, you make a post, it gives you an idea, so you try it and it works. You can actually change video playback settings separately on NVidia control panel... and it has multi-channel gamma too.

Gamma, Dynamic Range and modern digital content.

I should mention this is tested across 3 different displays with 3 different video cards. Acer Predator 34" ultrawide with Nvidia 1070Ti LG 55" 4k HDR LED TV with NVidia 1030 LG 40" 1080p TV with Intel HD Gfx. All have the same issue.

Has anyone noticed that online media is going "dark"? I have started to notice it more and more now that shadows are falling well below the black level of the monitor. I used to fix this in Chrome with a video filter plug-in to lift the gamma on any videos. Chrome have now banned all such...

"Free Solo" - Amazing, but I feel a little misled.

Sorry to draw on this reply again, but I was thinking about this last night. I don't watch TV. I cancelled Sky a long time ago, I don't have an aerial, dish or cable connected to my TV. Just a media PC with internet . I watch what I want to watch, when I want to watch it. If something...

Windows 10 says the printers are offline....oh no they aren't....

The change in Windows BTW, may have resulted in different Wifi network selection or an upgrade in it's access point search code. I didn't check the windows patch notes. I just wish they would stop breaking HDMI audio every other release. You turn the tele on and the sound comes out the little...

Windows 10 says the printers are offline....oh no they aren't....

Apologies for being negative, but as soon as you said a BT Hub, my first thought was, "Oh ... oh dear". Get rid. I have a box of them thrown out if you want a few more? Last ISP tried to send me a new router and I said I didn't want one, they said it was FREE and I said, "Nope. It's not...

Easiest way for both Android and Apple users to send me multiple images?

Google drive or google photos? I think you get 15Gb free across your google services. You can either ask the customer to create an album and share it to you, or you create a shared album on your account and give them (by google account) upload access.
