This. I have a 6D and a 7D, with the 6D getting the bulk of the activity at the moment, such as portraits, low-light and landscapes. However, the 7D is a perfect partner for when I need fast focusing, such as races and ducks.
Apparently so. It's either inbuilt into their software or there is a work around. I am thinking of getting one myself.
Edit: yes, you can.

The guy's almost as bad as the KenGod in his pompous, try-hard way.
To paraphrase him: "Ken Rockwell is an a$$hole and his photos are horrible."
I actually think some of Ken's pictures are nice as well.
EDIT: I also find that hairy guy rather aggressive and irritating while KenGod is...
I have a 6D and a 7D but have never used a 5D of any variation.
What I do like about the 6D is:
Image quality in low light is fantastic. The 7D really has some issues in low light.
GPS tagging is great.
It is lighter than the 7D. Good for some people.
Focusing is fine if you're not expecting...
I had the same experience - a wonderfully smooth process and a nice camera to boot. I do prefer the ergonomics of my 7D, but the low light of the 6D is astounding.
Cheers.
In all honesty, I don't think I am a skilled enough user to benefit massively from a FF but I have a few projects in the future where low light is inevitable. After a difficult attempt at getting something workable from a badly lit music gig, I realised the 7D's noise is... noisey...
Cheers :)
Anyway, I'll compare the 6D to the 7D when I get it. Really, I probably won't really notice too much difference day-to-day but in low-light I am sure it's going to be obvious.
Do I have to spell it out? I was obviously being tongue in cheek. If you highlight the blank space under post #97, it makes it even clearer.
However, your dogmatic attitude and unwillingness to detect heavy handed sarcasm implies that you really don't want to listen to others.
Ken is okay...
I am bored of this now, so can somebody please enlighten this person on not taking things too seriously?
As for 'Pookeyhead', please let us know where you deliver your BA(Hons) course so I can tell my students to avoid it at all costs.
I use a Gorillapod and just twist it round my camera bag. It then also makes it a little more difficult for people to lift anything out of it in crowded areas. Including myself, as well.
The only issue I had was one of the pods popped off. I rapidly reattached it and it seems fine again.
