From my film days I have always had 2 bodies, one I would leave a 80 to 200 on permantley, and the other I used with either 24mm 35 mm 50mm or 85mm lenses. Now haveing gone digital I had 2 bodies the D300 with the 18 to 200 VR2 and a D7000 with the 12 to 24 mm nikon lens The D7000 with the 12 to...
Yes you use the ajustment brush for prehaps lightning a area of the image, the develope presets effect all the image normally. I have been working with LR for quite a while now and love it, I suggest you get The Silver Efex Pro2 plug in for your mono images.
If I can be of any help please...
I have the 18 to 200 VR2 useing it with a D300 at the moment, the VR2 is a upgrade on the VR1. I have no probs with lens and have taken some great images. I know people who use the D7000 with this lens and they have no probs. I also have a D7000 with the 12 to 24 lens, it's a cracking lens, I...
Just read your last post you said click the brush Icon? Do you mean the Adjustment Brush in the Develope Module? If the presets are in the preset section you just click on the required preset and it will apply that preset to your image, to undo the preset go to Edit click on it and a box will...
I have a Bronica SQA, 50mm, 80mm 150mm lens, 2 x 120 backs, used to shoot B&W useing Ilford Delta 100. Its a great bit of kit but have moved to LF. Bought a Sinar F1 with a 150mm Nikon lens. So the Bronica is not getting the use it deserves. Needs a new home.

Don't forget the monitor, just bought a HP Pavilion 23 x i, £140 from PC W orld/ Currys, on EPZ they show a zone bar, can see all the zones clearly. I think for the money it's a great buy. I use LR4 it fits a treat no scolling of the image when processing.
Hope this helps
Just read the posts and just a suggestion that I saw on a tutorial about LE. If you have different lenses with different filter sizes buy the largest filter and the step down rings, ie I have a 77mm lens and 72mm, bought the 77mm filter and a step down ring which cost a few pounds.
