Don't rely on books and such to learn - get to grasps with the basics of your camera then go out and take as many photos as you physically can, then return and evaluate them all looking at what you could do better. Well, i think it's more a case of them not wanting people coming to them and complaining about some strange person is standing around taking photos of their delicate faces! :thumbsdown:

After ringing this morning it turns out they didn't want to let me take photos - the reason being that they are responisble for thir customers and i might be breaching the data protection act :thinking: Just wish i'd not asked permission now :thumbsdown: at least then i could of got a few...

I've just given their webiste a quick browse and found a couple of phone numbers so i'll give them a bell in the morning and see if they'll let me take photos there. Might even be worth offering them a couple of pictures i take, always good to get my name out a bit :D

After the recent amount of bad weather i decided to go into my local indoor shopping centre [Telford:woot:] and take some photos in there. I've got some ideas for nice shots - like slow shutter speeds on busy areas, shots of large amounts of feet, high perspective shots of crowds and such - but...

Hmmm...now i'm not sure. I have taken it out in the snow a while back, and got some really nice shots, just not sure about the rain - especially with it's tendancy to become heavy very quickly. I might give it a try if it's only spitting, as for heavy rain i'll just have to take photos of my desk :D
