Having read this thread a couple of days ago I ordered a 12x16 print on Natural Soft Texture 300 paper. It arrived today and I'm chuffed to bits!! Faultless service, will definitely use again.
It looks like there may have been some camera shake and the focus was in front of the monkey. Can you provide some of the exposure info (focal length, shutter speed etc).
Depends on the camera grip. My D300s and D800 grips take 1 battery, the other goes in the camera.
Im with Mike (dinorock), I get 2500+ shots from either of mine gripped - genuine grips and batteries.
Are you talking about the focus confirmation light in the view finder (bottom left)? It should light and remain lit while you are half holding the shutter button provided the camera has found focus. If if does not illuminate or flickers it is likely that focus is not confirmed;
When I upload to FB the copyright in the exif automatically pulls through, or at least it did last time I uploaded.
Having the notice the is pretty irrelevant anyway as if someone wants the image they'll take it.

Elinchrom D-Lite One RX heads. I know they are basic entry level lights but would they be ok for lighting the backdrop? I only use the kit with friends...
