what do you think of this shot, I was disappointed by the amount of distortion straight from the camera, should I just accept it, I can of course correct it in post production but is this a symptom of a cheaper lens wide open

Greys of Westminster are very good, when I bought mine they were very short, but Greys had one

according to Nikon's UK site the D3000 does shoot in RAW, so Jessops must have it wrong :shrug:

yep but not for some time, they may not be the easiest places to get into though

try Lasham and Kemble, both places store and break up aircraft, not on the scale of the bone-yards though

thanks guys, what would be nice would be a button with a sticky base that sat on the existing shutter button, in the interim as suggested I've just stuck a bit of a rubber thimble on the button, this does give a more tactile feel to it

I am very left handed and my D700 shutter is quite difficult to use, is there any adaptation you can make to make it easier to use?, thanks

to be fair it was shot through a window on a dull day, the camera was set on shutter priority and auto ISO, really I should have had it on manual, next time I'll try that and bear in mind your thoughts, what a silly billy :cuckoo:

took this to try out my new Nikon 300 f4/ 1.4 TC, why aren't they both in focus? is it motion blur? the rest of the shot looks roughly in focus :help:

sorry, the lens is the Nikon 70/300 VR AFS, I suppose what I am asking is if the Kenko TC is good enough or should I invest in the Nikon 1.4 TC?

I got my new 300mm f/4 today, what a great lens, far sharper than my 70/300mm, :cool: the next stage is to try my Kenko PRO 1.4 TC, has anyone tried this combination? do you loose image quality?,

my D700 is away being repaired, I thought I'd use the time to play with my FM3A, how soon you loose the knack of manual focus, by the time I'd got everything sorted out the great tit had got a nut and eaten it :'(
