I would def buy from HK have done on a few occasions. I bought my current D40x kit with 18-55mm lens, came with tripod and all the other extras. I had to pay duty but was still waaaay cheaper then uk. So i would say yes balance it out prior, just incase they do sting u with duty. Good luck...

I just got mine from Hong Kong no probs arrived via fedex in less then 2 days via express. Went through customs no probs, plus got a 2 year g'tee, from power seller with over 30k positive feedback. I got it cheaper then over here with tripod mem card and other bits and bobs well worth it.

Im pretty sure its not he flash its somethin internal, i removed the lens to see if i could see anything but no chance in there. Its definatly coming from inside the camera. It takes pics fine, im just worried long term if it will cause issues, as i dont intend on buying digi camera for few...
