I find lightroom simpler and easier to use. i like how the menus are laid out and that kind of "call to action" aimed at a photographers process for developing photos. photoshop on the other hand, unless you're an avid user, it may seem like a complicated program to use.

^ ditto, auto iso with manual settings, but restricting the iso not to go beyond what I feel is "usable" for that lens/camera combination. however i do use s or a priority when im lazy or cant get my settings right :p

Hi Cagey, I did consider that, I would love to get the 24-70mm, my best friend has that permanently attached to his camera too... the only big problem is the price! :eek: :lol: (unless you want to sell me yours for cheap :D) thanks for your input :)

My friend has a 50mm prime on his d3s and its better. its not as tight compared to a crop sensor... you could always rent/borrow it off a friend for a weekend and find out if it works for your...
