CS5 unlike other versions does not put the plug in on the menu bar. I have Genuine fractals and the plug in can be accessed either by file/automate/Genuine Fractals or by Window/Extensions/onOne. Hope this helps. Mick

They certainly look good and sharp throughout the zoom range. I will also be trying out this lens over the next weekend. I was wondering about the extremities of this lens but your images seem to have dispelled any fears that I had. Looking forward to the weekend now having seen your images. Mick

Julian, The colour temperature looks a little off on my monitor, the images appear to have a slight orange cast. What white balance were you using? You could alter this if they are RAW files. I tend to agree with Legacy that the direct front approach is not as flattering as when the model turns...

I didn't know about this and I don't recall being offered this at the time of purchase. As an aside I have run the disk utility and everything appears to be fine so maybe the external drive has caused this problem as this is the only piece of hardware attached. Mick

Have a look at the Sigma 50-500mm or 150- 500mm should be within your budget. I have the 150-500 and find it a good lens. Mick

Depending on the type and amount of light I would suggest using spot metering, using a mid tone tone as the starting point. Turn up the ISO if necessary to the highest setting that does not generate too much noise and select a shutter speed that will prevent camera shake or movement on stage...
