Buck, that's exactly what I want to do - but's it's ok now as I've worked it out. All I had to do was apply myself and stop trying to rush things. It was very obvious and easy once I slowed down. Everything is the way I want it to be.

Because I don't want my pc hard drive to be full of raw files taking up lots of space. I want everything relating to my images on my external hard drive. I have my original raw files on discs and I'll also be backing them up on my external drive.

I've managed to move my lightroom catalogue from my pc hard drive to my external hard drive, and set lightroom to launch my catalogue from there whenever it opens. Do I now need to delete the lightroom folder, that is in my pictures, to prevent all the image files from saving on to both drives...

Can somebody please tell me how to move my lightroom catologue on to an external hard drive? I have a P.C. running windows XP and my lightroom catologue is currently empty, as I've been saving my raw files on discs while waitng for my new external drive to arrive in the post. Well it arrived...

Jessop's sell a copy of the optech neoprene strap for less than £20.00. I find them great on all my cameras - even my RB67 medium format film camera which is as heavy as a brick.

What features would I most like to see on a camera? Lenses that have an aperture ring actually on the lens. It's just a much easier way to set the aperture for me
