Lenses to hire for sisters wedding?

Well went for the 17-55 and 70-200. The 70-200 didnt get used too much (mainly for the arty shots at the reception venue and a few at the reception). I can see why the pro's go for a 2nd body too with a long and short lens on each! The 17-55 was the main staple then, found it wide enough for...

    LensPimp.com - recommended

Not many recommendations for these guys on here so i'de just like to add one. Was originally gonna go with www.lensesforhire.co.uk, but due to issues delivering to a work address i had to go with someone else. Ordered a 70-200 and 17-55 for 3 days from Lenspimp, who undercut lensesforhire...

Lenses to hire for sisters wedding?

40D is old, D300s was bought several months ago. I know the 70-200 would be ideal, but really, its a bit big to lug around unless there really is no other suitable longish range alternative. Would an 85 f1.4 or 135 f2 be suitable for the longer shots? Would 24-70 be a better range...

Lenses to hire for sisters wedding?

Basically, my sister is having her wedding and not getting an official photographer. I've been asked to get some ok'ish shots during the day. Now I want to enjoy myself, so dont want to spend all day lugging around kit or constantly worried about getting the right shot/settings. Ideally...

    hmmmmmmmm new compact time

G11's too bulky to be a true compact to me. I went for a Canon S90 and its been fantastic, im sure the S95 is even better. True pocketability with great IQ.

What camera? I know I know!

I did.... 2 months ago, and now its for sale. Too big to be a compact, and not good enough for a full DSLR.

What camera? I know I know!

I'll have a go on both then when im at the airport on sat, but its hard to try and play with one properly in a shop. TBF the 40D was a great camera, just thought while im starting from new again i might as well go for the best. I found the 40D images a bit washed out usually, they always needed...

What camera? I know I know!

Not another one of these threads. Basically sold all my kit (40D) a few months ago and decided i need it all back! I want to upgrade from the 40D, but what to get? Is the 50D or D90 an upgrade or a side step? D300 or 7D? Do i want to stay with Canon or will i get on ok with Nikon...

    Earplugs

I use custom ones for work, nothing compares imo. The disposable ones are useless. A good compromise is a set of ear canal earphones, my Sennheiser's wrok pretty well considering.

What lenses for a Canon 40D....?

I love my 10-22, stay on the body most of the time, but prob out of your budget if you want others aswell. The Sig 10-20 is cheaper
