I have a 40D and I HIGHLY recomend it, it feels like so much more camera with the Mg body and heavy enough to offset the weight of a 70-200mm L and feel stable :) I'll be going 7D or 5D next as the new 60D won't have the same xxD feel, get it while you can MB

The MkII would be a very expensive upgrade for me at the moment and I can't be sure that it is worth it, I could however trade my 40D, grip and 17-55 for a 5D classic which seems more doable. MB

Both will fit, efs only fit 1.6x crop cameras ie not the 1D or 5D MB

Another vote for a 40D if you can stretch to it, I went from the 350D to a 40D and it felt like a massive hike in quality :) MB

I think the R-Strapwould work well for me but I would like to see if there are any other manufaturers around, does any one know of other brands which do a similar thing? Thanks Matt
