    Opinions on website

It looks to me like it's pointing to the same server, but not actually redirecting. The site loads on either domain, so they're coexisting as two separate sites, which can cause you problems. If your .com is the master, when you type .co.uk it should change to .com in the address bar...

    Opinions on website

The two domain names could get you penalised by the search engines, repetitive content and all that. Pick a primary and have the alternate domain redirect to it.

email design software and email client

Have a look at CampaignMonitor, I think it's better than MailChimp, but I also think it costs more.

    120 film questions...

Hello, I've tried searching for some answers, but I'm not coming up with much. I got a Diana F+ 120 camera for my birthday, which looks rather cool and a lot of fun, but I don't know a great deal about 120 film and processing and stuff, so I need some advice. I'm going to the Goodwood...

    METEOR SHOWER!!

Got this last night with one of the ISS passes, you have to look quite hard (which is why I've done a high res version) but I count six meteors in there (and two planes!): http://martynhoyer.co.uk/photos/20120809_startrails_01_hires.jpg

    Domain name and email

If you own a domain and have access to its DNS settings you can sign up for Google Apps (free if you only want a few user accounts on the domain) and set up email that way. Very simple, and uses the Gmail system which is the best webmail around. Simple to set up on phones and access from just...

    Website background image

I needed to do that a while back for one of our clients and used that same tutorial. Worked for me. I seem to remember there being a few cross-browser issues though.

Batch converting from 240p to 72p

DPI (or PPI) is irrelevant for web use. A pixel is a pixel. A higher DPI just means your image is larger on screen (because it has more pixels). For web use, you just convert dimensionally. And yes, you can batch convert images. Scripts > Image processor is a good place to start.

    windows vista install.

I don't understand all these claims of XP and Vista being no different. Vista had its issues, which 7 has mostly eliminated, but I still see Vista as a much improved OS over XP. Going back to XP after using Vista is an absolute nightmare. The start menu alone is worth upgrading for.

    Web URL on the browser

"www" is actually a subdomain, it's just usually where the main website is stored. If you want to force the www, then you have to put in a rewrite, so when a user visits the domain without the www, they're redirected to the URL with it. My website does the opposite, because I think the www...

Software for Yes, No, Maybe Images

I use Bridge, and just use the colour tags for Yes/Maybe type selections. It's easy to whizz through in Filmstrip view and just Ctrl+6 all your yes pictures and Ctrl+7 all your maybes. If you've got Photoshop, you've probably got Bridge, too!

    Windoze 7 seems unstable.....

"They" claim that any blue screens are caused by hardware, and I've only seen a couple of Win7 myself and they've always been hardware based. Does the error message on the BSOD give any hints as to what causes it?
