a Nokia E7 which has a terrible camera on it lol but it has HD video which is pretty good quality

is the panasonic lumix g1 any good?

sorry i should have clarified, i don't intend on becoming a professional photographer, i mean as a guest at a wedding, i need something that will take sharp good quality shots

thanks for the advice guys, i also need to be able to take HD videos with the camera, and unfortunately i can't stretch my budget for the dslr :shake: so it has to probably be a bridge or compact digi cam? are bridges any better than digi cams in terms of photo quality?
