i have a sony a200 (i am also a newbie i may add ), i have a hood for my 75-300 lens which is completely round however i have seen others which are scallopped is their any difference between the two ? also could someone tell me what the letters p . a. s . m mean on the dial on my camera .

thanks gonetae, anyone used a kingston 8gb memory card ? dont want to throw money away , i am happy with my sandisk but want more memory ( on the cheap ) as i am going to the states in sept i know i will need more than my 4gb
