Yup same here, tried it recently and not looked back.

Been there done that, well similar, for me it was a memory card. Now i keep at least one spare in my bag at all times, next to the spare qr plate for my tripod ;).

That is not the "correct" way of composing shots and can lead to out of focus shots. If you want the subject matter off center then move the focus point to where in the view finder you want it to be? One of the first things i learnt from this forum was NOT to do this.

I suspect it's because you are using a 1.5 tb drive in there. You can only have a raid of twice the size of the smallest drive in a set up like that.

It's not obvious which will fit larger laptops i must admit, and they are a tad expensive for "occasional" use.

As per thread title as i have just invested in a laptop there will be the odd occasion where i will need to take both my camera and laptop out and about. As i'd rather not take two bags the ideal solution would be a bag for both. Now i know camera / laptop bags exist but after spending sometime...

Yup seems thats all the AF points i get with my macro lens, honestly never noticed the difference before. Seems we learnt something new :).

Yeah seems i am just being a numpty / it's too early and i'm not awake, checked some other pics and they show the same AF points. Coulda swore i'd used the outer ones before, guess not :bonk:. Move along nothing to see here just me being a plonker :nono:

Have an issue where i seem to have lost most of the AF points when i fit my macro lens and i don't know why?? I tried a couple of other lenses and i have all AF points available with those which makes it all the more confusing. I've been through all the menus and cannot see why it would be...

Thanks for the input guys, went with the new Sigma 35mm 1.4 in the end, so far i am quite pleased with it, loving the bokeh at wider apatures :). Thanks again.
