well i have softboxes, shoot through umbrellas and background reflectors so i think ill give the softboxes ago next time and see how i get on.

Hi!! I would usually light my white background using background reflectors on my studios heads, however im looking for peoples opinions n what they thinks best to use. Ive hired out 4 studios before 2 used softboxes, 1 used barn doors and the other background reflectors. So what do you thinks...

Yeh ive thought about it but would prefer not to use it as it would mean investng in more equipment and software, whereas i *** just need to get a backdrop to change the colour.

I have always shot on just a black, white or grey background, but ive become somewhat bored of them. So what colout backgrounds do people use for family portraits ect? Thanks

The hilite is great for small spaces but its hard to get aseamless flow. I have seen onhere before where people haveraised the floor and scoped up the back up to blend it into the hilite. Do a search and see if you can find it.

Ive got the lencarta support system and us vinyl with it, its seems pretty stable but defo use sand bags! Thanks

This is stupid, i think gary contributes alot to this forum, i have learnt loads from his advice and his poiting towards products help me decide what lighting gear i was going to buy and invest in further. If theres a deal at lencarta then let him post it, would only be the same as me coming on...
