You probably dont need the 3.5 so save some cash and grab the cheaper one! If I was you though, I would get a Tokina 11-16, I think its a better lens, but thats just me :)

The A700 is a better body, just try and get used to it :) Im sure once you take a few really good shots with it, you will forget all about the a200 :)

I really dont think you need a better body, i'm not being rude, but do you really think you have outgrown the a300? Why not just keep it untill you literally need another body. Then in a year or so the A900 or the A850 would offer you better value for money than say a D700. Now the A700...

I dont think he will be configuring the server via ssh, so commands wont really interest him. And please not for other users that those commands will only work on a debian based server :)
