Thanks for that I have upgraded the pc recently and PSE is still on the old 1 so could be the reason.

I am using PSE10 for organizing & editing but there has been a couple of times now that when I have opened up it's like it has just been installed and all the information has disappeared which can get annoying!! has anyone else had the same trouble? Or is there a good organizer you can recommend?

A little off subject but Does anyone know where the .xmp files keep appearing from and what do they do because they don't open.

I have just bought a new 2TB HHD for photo storage and I am running PSE10 at the moment I import from the organizer which I can tag from there then save edits in new folder. Would you do the same or view & delete in the master folder before exporting to editing software.
