I use a Cannon IX6500 with refillable cartridges from Rapid Resolutions Had problems to start with to which they were very helpfull and now runs fine.

Updated mine on 2nd day it was available had no probs at all in fact camera is now working far better than its ever done and I now feel it justifies its original purchase price.
Could it be anything to do with how it was put on camera ie. I did mine through the EOS Utility.
