Anyone know if ball heads can be bought for a TP2100 (camlink) tripod? Does it have to be brand specific or will most heads fit most tripods?

Cheers, will do. Mano i'm not expecting excellence here, I don't do much in the way of wide angle (yet) so didn't want to spend a fortune on a lens I wouldn't use all that much. No more lenses for me now though until I save up for a tilt shift 90mm - quite a while off unfortunately.
