My current range of lenses are a Canon 15-85 f3.5-5.6, Sigma 70-200 f2.8 OS, Canon 50 1.8 and a newly ordered Sigma 105 f2.8 macro. All are used on a Canon 7d body.
I'm mainly a sports tog, but have recently started to really enjoy low light urban and candid portrait photography and my usual...
Peugeot 306 HDI, My first French car after years of German metal and I'm so far impressed. By far the easiest car I've worked on, cheap spares, 55mpg, comfortable and performance is ok.
The filter is more determined by what lens you are using rather than the camera. Those are to screw into a 58mm thread on the front of your lens. I'd this what your lens has?
As for any filters, go for the best you can afford. I made the mistake of buying cheap first time round and could...
Thanks all, going to take the camera but try to get out of it when there. Unfortunately wedding is on the missus' side so no mates and no chasing bridesmaids :-(
At least this has given me the determination to learn more about what my camera can do.
Been asked at very short notice (weddings tomorrow) to film a wedding service with my Canon 7d. They have a pro wedding tog taking photos and I wasn't going to take my camera.
I've told them I've never used the video function on my 7d but they have asked me if I wouldn't mind trying.
My main...
Love my Sigma 70-200 2.8 OS. I've not used the canon but the IQ of the sigma is fantastic. I would have loved to have the big off white lens on the front of my 7D but when I bought mine I couldn't justify the extra cost. Has the Canon come down that much?
The only bit that feels slightly cheap...
I bought a set without contacts 12 months ago just to play with. There is a work around for aperture where you set it without the tubes and press the DoF button and then remove the lens and put the tubes in place. It works, but I'm always quite wary of doing it.
The lack of AF means you can...
Don't discount lens' from other manufacturers, I've just taken delivery of a new Sigma 70-200 f2.8 with OS for less than £900 and its exceeded my wildest dreams, IQ's fantastic even wide open, colours are brilliant and the AF with my 7D is lightning quick and accurate.
I've been using a bamboo pen and touch for PhotoShop for the past 6 months,
Pros; very accurate and great to have the pressure sensitive tip to adjust size/opacity on the fly. The buttons on the pen can be customized to an action which is great.
Cons; I often run out of space on mine when...
I believe that only covers the removal of structures on the site. My 'very' personal opinion is that the RAF should be allowed to use the site for target practice, would make for some great pictures.
A friend is considering their first dslr purchase and asked if they could shoot a couple of frames with mine to see what it was like with a viewfinder, zoom ring and weight, for convenience I stuck it in auto as I didn't want to start explaining back button focusing and focus point selection...
