Made me think....whats the general "etiquette" then? I went to Covent garden with my camera messing about and got told off inside the shoe shop but was allowed to photograph the window display:)
Do you ask peoples permission or just snap away from afar?
My father always had his camera with him on our camping weekends and as soon as I saved up enough pocket money i bought my own. Havent a clue now what it was....
Loved my first digital camera...a fuji something which got me snapping away safe in the knowledge that you can just delete them...

I bought a book....by James Beattie & Tracy Hallet The Pip expanded guide to the eos 400D....so much nicer to read. Colour pics and larger type!!

or somewhere for beginners to the SLR world perhaps, so as not to embarrass oneself!!
