    How easy is it to scratch the glass on the lens?

    I only have a bridge camera at the moment but I have a hoya UV filter on it that my dad gave me, it's got a couple of miniscule scratches on it makes no difference to IQ, but better a £18.00 filter than a whole new lens/camera.     Is my camera good enough?

    Done 2 weddings both as favours I hasten to add not paid work. First was a friends wedding they just wanted some "candid" type shots and a couple of posed shots. Took the entire wedding on a Kodak Point & Shoot 3.1mp CX7330, got some really great shots with it, even printed a couple of A4 shots...

    Do you nearly always have your camera with you?

    Always take my camera with me, last week took some recycleable stuff to the dump for work, and lo and behold appeared a rainbow, managed to get about 3 really nice shots of it... Keith Fuji s6500fd for the moment

    Another Newbie

    Hi there another newbie to TP saying hello to everyone, currently using a fuji S6500fd bridge camera, hoping to upgrade to either a Nikon D80 or a Pentax K20d (still undecided but those are the ones I've settled on)
