    New bag advice needed.

I like the look of both of those but also wonder about the flipside 400 which I think would hold the 150-500mm on the 7D. But it does look pretty huge!

    New bag advice needed.

I've been using a Micro Trekker 200 for a while now and have been pretty happy with it - it holds a surprising amount! However I've just take delivery of a Sigma 150-500mm and it's just a tad long to fit in and the bag is not really deep enough to take the hood separately. What I'm looking...

Jessops. 8gb. Sandisk Ext. III CF card. £27.50 or less collected

Ordered one for collection in store, but when I didn't receive a text/email saying it was ready for collection I gave them a call... It transpires that the stock online doesn't necessarily match the store... They told me they had other cards I could purchase including the 60mbps 8gb ones for...

    Chicken Keeping

I've currently got 9 big chickens (three hybrids and 6 ex batts), plus 12 various bantams (pekins, brahma, poland and sussex) and 7, 5 week old chicks (Cuckoo and Blue Orpington, Barnvelder and Speckled Sussex.) You'll totally love the eggs and they are wonderful characters! Good luck with them!

    Cable Release for Canon 1000D?

I need to buy a cable release for a birthday present for a relative who has a 1000D. The accessories section of the Canon site is a bit out of date so does anyone know what model number is compatible? Thanks!

    Animal Portraits, Focus.

I personally like option 2 - I normally like to see both the eyes and the nose in focus. Having said that... sometimes I don't mind a shallower DOF - but strangely mostly when the focus is on the nose...

    Bl**dy foxes

Sorry to hear about your loss. Surprised how many chicken owners on here. I'm lucky that we don't get foxes in the garden here (even though neighvours see them and it's quite rural), I guess having two huge dogs puts them off a bit!

Top 15 Reasons You Might Be Obsessed with Photography

No1 - I've had all black dogs for 15 years.. and although you get to the point where exposing them correctly becomes easier, it's soooo much easier with brown! When the breeder told me there were browns in the litter of the most recent puppy it was the first thing that crossed my mind!!
