OFFICIAL I HAVE A NEW (FILM RELATED) TOY THREAD!!

I have had a 65mm Grandagon-N f4.5 mounted in a Prontor Pro 01 shutter. I have always liked the ease of use of this shutter. Then I discover they made a dedicated twin cable remote for it. Managed to find one and was delivered yesterday, this thing takes it to the next level. Got me thinking...

    Processing fault?

Isn't that usually referred to as bromide drag?

    Anyone done LF E6 development.

I have done 4x5 using the Bellini kit. I use a Pattersons tank with the 20th century cameras reel. Just follow the steps, remarkably easy. For preheating, load the film, seal the tank and stand it in the same water bath your chemicals are in.

    6x6? I think that what i want.....

I have a rolliflex sitting unused in my collection, the mirror it filthy but would give you a chance to try a twin lens before you go out and spend your hard earned money and if you end up anywhere near J17 of the M4

    4x5 pinhole

There is more to it when you shoot 4x5, most medium format pinhole cameras dont give you movements, but im not sure the Titan pinhole will either. My 4x5 would allow me to fit a range of pinhole sizes, applicable to chosen focal length and I can still dial in front rise and fall while still...

Loosely film related, but what would you do?

Not going to answer your question but will suggest you pop a roll of B&W through it and post it off to a forum member who develop their own film and we will find out if the camera is OK. Maybe the blank films were a developing error?

First time out testing the Horizont, found it had a light leak, think I have fixed that now. One cropped and one showing the light leak

    Beginner Help! What Film?

Don't be scared to start thinking about developing, you don't need a lot to get started and it's not difficult to do the basics. There are plenty here that develop at home and will put you together a little shopping list. There is something really special about going through the process and...

    Merry Christmas!

Had a wonderful day, thank you, lots of family over, cooked christmas dinner for 11. Only one "Analogue" present and I bought that for myself. A massive upgrade on the 30+ year old one it replaces.

All set for my Large Format adventure.. I think.

Depending where in the world you are, I'm sure there would be other LF users that would be happy to meet up and share experience

    All I have is questions.

OK, so for 4x5 my favourite wide angle is my Nikkor 75mm. Depending on camera and how close you can get the front and rear standards, and access to bag bellows you can get 65, 58 and even 47mm

    All I have is questions.

The 150 XL should be perfect, equivalent to a 75mm on 4x5 OR The Nikkor SW 120mm f8

    Help from LF people please.

I have done it once. I did a little video on loading. I listen for the click as the corners drops over the edges of the film slot. View: https://youtu.be/HbMvPSe-7IA?si=1WbhnTBP_Ul8D94M
