    Stunning timelapse

Very cool, one of the best time lapses I've seen. The music goes really well too.

    Nikon 105mm F2 DC

I think the popularity of the 85mm's may be due to the fact that it's a slightly more versatile/ useful focal length for most people.

Nikon or stigma for good prime lens? D700

If you own the 24-70 and a macro prime lens then the sigma 18-50 will only be useful as a wide angle for 18-24.

    Iphone 4 help and question

I'm considering upgrading to the iphone 4 from a 3gs. I have a problem with the 3gs; whenever I turn 3g on, my signal drops to being very low. Are there any iphone 4 users here that know if this problem still exists?

Canon 28-135 IS USM Any good?

Since the OP is shooting with a 50d, I wouldn't recommend the 28-135 as it's not very wide on a crop camera. The canon 17-85mm IS is comparable in most ways but more suitable for a crop camera IMO.

    rolling car shots, any tips?

Switch it off, it will be trying to fight against the panning motion and will be useless.

Second hand DSLR + prime lens? Advice

I'm not really in a position to give you advice on the cameras but just a tip; Nikon 50mm 1.8's go for around £80 rather than £100 second hand so this frees your budget up a little.

    SB700 vs SB900

This might be useful: http://speedlights.net/2010/09/16/nikon-sb-700-flash-specs-vs-sb-600-and-sb-900/ It has a list of the advantages of each.

    Sigma 85mm Portaits (more added)

No but f1.2 isn't that important to me so if this lens performs better overall and is cheaper then it's a no brainer really.

Review REVIEW - Canon 10-22 lens

Nice review, thanks. I'm looking for a super wide for my 450d, would you say this lens is worth the premium over the sigma 10-20?

Help with low light situations anyone?

Since you don't have a flash your best option will probably be to use the 50mm at 1.8, choose a reasonable shutter speed and then just adjust ISO to get your exposures. As EOS JD said, the D700 is great at high ISO, and if you still have too much noise you can clean it up a bit in PP.

    Cannon EOS7D Shutter Count

I've been searching for this too and unfortunately it seems the only real way is to send it to Canon.

£200 to spend on a telephoto lens - Canon Fit

Another vote for the 55-250mm. I recently upgraded from this to the 70-200 f4 L expecting a pretty big difference in IQ, there really wasn't much of one and I have to put this down to the quality of the 55-250.
