Yeah, it's a fair question to ask.
I have Canon dslr and bought an R5. Took a couple of weeks to change my thought process as everything you need is in the viewfinder. As Honey monster has said, extra batteries is a must; I also have a power bank as backup, it has to be a PD version (power...
Just come across the old post. I was getting the Lens Doctor to fix my 200mm 1.8. Well to finish the story off. He had it for months and I got it back. IT WASN'T FIXED.
Well we had lock down and I left it too late to claim anything back of the £400+ i paid for repair.
Fast forward to...
Finally, I received the adapter back Wednesday. It hadn't been repaired. I can see that the button doesn't depress the lock pin fully, in fact it only drops 25%. I have now sent it off under warranty for repair or replace.
I've had the adapter since August 2021. Maybe taken on and off lenses about 10 times at most. So, if they return it damaged, which is the only way to get it off, I'm not sure how my warranty will work. The place I bought it from are happy to sort it out as long as it's a manufacturer's...
Hi chaps...sorry for not replying straight away.
Thanks for the replies.
It's a genuine Canon adapter.
Free from body, stuck on lens
I actually sent it in for a assessment for repair.
Thanks for the photo Buck. Yes, I bought another adaptor and could then workout what had happened...
Hi chaps.
I recently put my ef-rf adapter onto my Canon 16-35mm. I have removed it successfully many times.

I've had an estimate to fix it @ £300.
I'm sure I could cut it off myself.
Before I try anything majorly...
Thanks for all the hard work that you and the moderators have put in. This site has be a wealth of information for me and it will be a sad day if it is closed down. However needs must, you've got to look after your health.
Thanks again.
I use both ways on the T3. The reason I posted the question was because I thought I used to do it that way on the T2. It's no big deal. I thought I was losing my marbles.
I just find using the wheel in dark conditions easy. Anyway I am relived that my T2 isn't broken.
Yeah...push the wheel in and the choices come up.
F-SS-ISO
SS can ISO be altered F not.
I thought originally when I bought it 2/3 years ago that I used to change the aperture via wheel.
It has to be set to C then aperture, s.s and exp.comp appear on the wheel menu. But for some reason aperture can't be changed. I thought that when I first got the xt2 , aperture could be changed via the wheel.
(Or my memory is completely mush and you never could.)
