    "Panasonic G series" Owners Thread

Not posted anything for a long time. Still loving my GF1 and 20mm. I took a 14-40 to Dartmoor in August and it never left the B&B room, the Panny is just easier to carry around for the odd candid, unfortunately the better half is never impressed once she realises she is the subject in...

Guys what bags/pouches are you keeping your GF1/GF2 in please? Lookign at the Lowepro Rezo 60. I would like the Apex 60 AW but it does not have a belt loop which would be useful when climbing :(

I have just joined the club. After needing to downsize from my 40D I decided to go for a GF2...however today I have just managed to get myself a brand new GF1 with 20mm f1.7 for £450! Just got to get used to the settings and controls but this is a damn fine little camera!:eek:

    London visit, which lens?

I am in London a fair amount and my main glass is the Tamron 17-50 and 85 1.8. Perfect on a crop for most shots. On that basis I would probably agree the 17-55 or 15-85 are good options. I'd personally go with the 17-55 as I tend to use the 85 for candids, other than that I don't need the reach.

Canon 10-22mm: Recommend me a filter for landscapes and seascapes

I have the Hitech ND grads, partnered with a Kood Holder and adaptor ring for my 17-50. I have also just got a Hoya Pro1 CPL which I have not yet had a chance to use yet :)

9/11 thread - conspiracy stuff discussion

Elvis did it, with the passenger jet, from the Grassy Knoll. My honest opinion on this is that until I see concrete and infallible proof that this atrocity was not caused solely by the planes hitting the towers then I remain to be of the thought that this was a terrorist attack. I am...

    Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM Lens

Same. The £870 price jump is not Play's standard price, that is the cost from a 3rd party seller (Deepblue). Either Play's stock has depleted and the system has updated to reflect no availability or, and the most likely reason, they have pulled the item due to mispricing.

    Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM Lens

I've seen bigger bargains slip through. 3 years ago I bought a Dell laptop for £20 from their site. So you'll be selling it for £100 in the classifieds? A sure fire way to pull attention to a product is to bulk order.

70-200F4L now, or hold on for 70-200F4L IS

 Sensible choice. For Motorsport you wont beed IS and for daylight wildlife you should be able to get the shutterspeed up enough :) The 7-2 f/4 is a stunning lens, one of the sharpest I have ever used, the example I had matched my 200 2.8 at identical apertures but had the...

What will you buy this year?

I need a new backpack, probably the Kata 3n1 30. I also want to get a 10D and convert it for IR shots. That's pretty much it. I love my 3 lens lineup, and for the type of photography I do I don't need too many accessories. Tbh if I was being honest I would probably sell the 17-50 for the non...

Finally can afford to buy my new kit, bit of help please :)

Buying used from here or POTN is the way to go. I do tend to avoid used items on eBay or the like but on a dedicated photography forum you are able to request example shots and know that the gear has been looked after by someone just as keen on quality as you. I recently bought an 18month old...
