hi all moving into a new house next month and it has a good sized garage hopfully going to make a home studio been looking on ebay and found some 540w studio kits would these be any good or any advice please?

i have a nikon d100 with a 35 - 80 lens which is fine, been doing a bit of football shots for website, but need a zoom lens, been looking on ebay, im guessing a 50- 200 would be ok???? will the nikkor dx work on my d100?? thanks guys
