    Nikon Z* mirrorless

Interesting, thank you. Rallying is where I'd use it mostly, which AF mode(s) do you use? Native lenses as in Z mount?

    Nikon Z* mirrorless

Is there anyone using a Z6 II for motorsport / fast action photography? How is the AF-C performance with the latest firmware please? Also interested to hear how AF-C performance is using F mount lenses with the adaptor? I wouldn't probably use any of the auto modes or dynamic tracking, just...

My Guide to Processing (& faking) Motorsport Shots

I've experimented with adding motion blur before, and your method is pretty much how I did it. However I've never posted a shot that the motion blur is faked, it would just feel like I was cheating. Obviously can be quite hit and miss in camera depending on shutter speed, but much more...

    Fixation

Just thought of checking my junk mail box and estimate is sat there, sent the day they received lens! My mistake!

    Fixation

Send a lens to Fixation which they received Wednesday morning but still not heard from them yet? Is this normal? They claim they can turn a lens around in 4 days and I have read plenty of good reviews so seems a little strange.

Very lightweight & compact light stand

Also think the double fold type (where the legs fold back on themselves) might be better for me, they should fit in my bag then?

Thanks for the replies. What would you recommend? Thank you.

Very lightweight & compact light stand

Forgot to say, doesn't need to be 7ft+ anything up to 6ft would be fine. Don't want to buy a cheap eBay Chinese thing that falls apart in 5 mins, will pay for something decent that will last.

Very lightweight & compact light stand

As above. I walk miles and miles with a camera bag full of kit, so need something as light as possible and compact as possible, but still reasonably sturdy to hold a Speed Light and PocketWizard. Have three Speed Lights with PWs, so may be carrying up to three light stands + D300/D7100...

    Nikon lens repair

My 300mm f/4 AF-S has a squeaky AF-S motor and I've recently noticed fewer and fewer of my shots are sharp, so I think its time to get it looked at. So the question is where is the best place to send it? Need it back before RIAT, so about 2 and a half weeks from now. Thanks in advance.

    Framing a 30 x 20"

Had a print sat in my room for a long time gathering dust on my chest of drawers that I really need to get framed. Just wondered how people have framed a big print like this and where they bought the frame/mount from. Thinking of a black frame and white mount, something reasonable quality...

    D300 or D700

Depends if you need the flexibility of a zoom and what the light is like in whatever sport you're shooting. Of course the D700 trumps the D300 in low light with high ISO, and the 300 2.8 trumps the 70-200 2.8.
