Thanks for all the suggestions guys.
I ended up going for the Slingshot 102AW. I've had it a couple of days now and I love it
Got a bargain too as Amazon reduced it's price just before I ordered it
Thanks for the link Adam. I think I'd have to try one on before I bought one. I've tried on the Slingshot and it seems perfect for me. Thanks anyway though.
Thanks for your reply Ben :)
Quick update: I went to Jessops a couple of days ago and tried on the 102 & 202. I've decided on the 102. Hopefully I can find a second hand one in good condition for less than the £50 retail price ;)
Thanks for your answers guys :)
I guess it's down to personal opinion as to whether it feels comfortable or not. I definitely need to try wearing one with a bit of weight in it. I'll pop to Jessops over the weekend
Thanks for your answer Chris :)
I guess you're right. I'll head down to Jessops with my kit and try a few out for size. Then I'll probably give Ebay a try for a used one ;)
Hi Tommy. Can you expand on that a little? What was it about the strap that you didn't like?
When I bought my 450D second hand, it came with a Canon 10EG Deluxe Gadget Bag. It's a very nice bag, but I find I usually end up leaving it at home as it's not very convenient for the type of stuff I do.
I've been looking at the Lowepro Slingshots and they seem pretty much perfect for me...
Thanks for the recommendation Graham.
Unfortunately Mark Pearson isn't available on our date :( but thanks anyway.
Thanks Hugh.
I'll have a look through his website.
Coincidently we noticed there was a wedding fayre near us today and we managed to pop along. There were a few photographers...
After 6 years together, I finally proposed to my girlfriend just before xmas. We don't want to hang about so we're now getting stuck into planning the big day (the joy :bang: )
We're not doing bad so far. We've got the venue, registrar and caterers booked and deposits paid. The big day will be...
My first 'bump'.

To me, there are a couple of obvious reasons why these photos don't work too well, but I'm just wondering what other peoples thoughts are.
Thankyouplease :D
Thankyou everyone for your replies :)
I completely forgot the filter was on until afterwards. I tend to just keep it attached to the lens as I don't really have anywhere else to store it. I'll make sure I take it off next time. I definately need to get myself a lens hood too.
It's good to...
I was out shooting some light trails the other night (first attempt) and I noticed a few unwanted effects on some of the shots.
The picture below shows the two effects I'm referring to...
Top-right of the picture, near the street lamps, there are some concentric lines which I'm assuming...
Well today was great :)
The weather was fantastic and there was plenty of action on the track.
I took just over 1000 photos  but this evening I've cut that down to just over 500 by deleting the OOF/blurred/ruined ones.
To be honest, I'm not blown away by any of them, but I've posted...
Thanks for your replies guys :)
A difference of opinion there.
I guess the shutter speed is something I'll have to experiment with anyway. I want to get as much motion blur in the backround as I can, but I guess it depends how good my panning skills are as to how low I can go while keeping...
