Hi I have this lens and was wondering if it's safe to use. The lens works fine was just concerned if I'm likely to get more chance of dust into my sensor or will the actual internals of the lens be more sealed?

I really like my 480 ex II. Although you could get a yongnuo equivalent cheaper

I just upgraded my basic cameras the more i got into it the better the camera i got. Now I can't imagine using anything else!

I always switch it off when changing anything. Just think if you hit the shutter button by mistake whilst taking the memory card out. Unlikely but if it happened could corrupt the memory card data
