Hi All,
I'm thinking about getting a cheap wide angle and have read some good reviews about the Rokinon 14mm (Nikon). It is advertised as having an 'automatic chip' but non of the product descriptions that I've seen on the internet clarify what the chip is (or does). I'm presuming that it's...
Right -
Thanks to Xmas goodwill, I received a SB-700 speedlight to go along with my SB-900.
I'm looking for a umbrella / stand combo at a budget. Any recommendations?
I'm looking at this as a starting point...
Thanks Garry - that's what I suspected.
Hodders - I'm not getting paid for it as a) the manager is a friend of mine, b) it's my first ever studio shoot and I'd like the images for a portfolio, and c) they are paying for a professional studio, a make up artis and whoever I want to grab to...

Thanks for suggestions so far:

Hi All,
Wondered if anybody could answer a tech problem that I've got:
I've recently started a studio photography course at a local college and working with a basic 3 light setup. I'm shooting with a D700 and a sync cable which successfully fires off the setup exactly how I want it. The...
