    Fringing and elements 11

Does anyone know the simple way of clearing this problem up? It looks to me that there are no options in the raw software to do this. Cheers

    Nd grad filters

I thought so much, I assume that in this instance if you were shooting a building you would just have to blend different exposures of the same shot.

    Nd grad filters

I'm contemplating buying a set of nd grads but something has been bugging me. How do these work? Aside from the obvious, allowing you to expose the foreground for longer so you don't lose the sky, how do you go on if say you are photographing a building which cuts vertically straight through...

    what price ISO performance

I was talking to my mate about this the other day. He has the 5d and shoots a lot of action shots. He can shoot at something like 128k ISo at f8 with a shutter speed of 1-1000! And get quality shots. I was going for the 7d but he says go for the 6d it well worth the extra.

Cost to set up a studio.

Thanks for you response. Early days this so unsure on size but prob around 200 sq ft. As far as cost for hiring I was thinking of something like £20 per hour £50 for half a day £80 for a full day. As far as budget goes I think I could spend 5k, hopefully the premises will need little general...

Cost to set up a studio.

Sorry I prob didn't make myself clear. This will not primarily be for my use, I want to create a studio to rent to others. My plan is that on another floor this building will also have a hairdressers, nail/beauty salon. And I will have a separate photography studio. I don't want to just put...

Cost to set up a studio.

I'm relatively new to photography but I am keen to set up a studio primarily for rent but also for my use in the future as I get better. Has anyone done this and what would you say the costs are for decent lighting backdrops etc. THis is early thinking but I just need an idea of what people...

    Long exposure, which nd filter?

As in the original post I will be taking pictures of the lake . I've never done long exposure before so I'm not exactly sure myself of what I want to achieve. But I've got the time to have a mess around and try I few different things. What I don't want to do is spend say £150 on a ten stop...

    Long exposure, which nd filter?

Yes I see your point but on a limited budget I can't go out and purchase every nd filter. However I can increase/ decrease my shutter speed to allow for alterations in the conditions.

    Long exposure, which nd filter?

I've love looking at long exposure photography and this weekend I'm off to lake Windermere to give if a go. However which nd filter should I use? I've read various articles and they seem to vary on opinion. I will bd shooting using my 600d on a 60 mm 1.4 probable in the morning in daylight...

    Kit advice

I feel the quality of the 18-55 is slightly frustrating but I am used to the pin sharp quality of my 50mm 1.4. So I am leaning towards replacing that lens but I don't know what the best buy is for around £300 quid. Maybe also something a bit longer than 55mm to give me a greater range in just...
