Having been resigned to the 1000D this Boots offer is really getting me going... go for a 450D at 1000D prices or pocket a saving on the 1000D? Can someone please just confirm both deals include the lens as previous posters in the deals section seem unsure of this.

Thanks, can I just check my understanding of on and off camera. I do have a slave shoe and camera shoe mount with cable between. I get the impression the camera will fire the flash be everything needs to worked out manually - is this correct? Thanks Ian
