photoshop lightroom seem to be a very good stuff to handle resize photo with aspect ratio and printing support :) i think it must be easier with LR than in PS. else, you can try acdsee as soft too.

auto focus is a weak point for this little lens, i have destroyed 2 of them too :) , but manual focus on this lens is great, quick and you feel your hand on the focus ring. finally, i end up with taking one 50mm f1.4 :)

+1 with Harlequin565 , my work flow seems to be the same but, i do export everything out to JPEG after LR and finally, i always have one folder RAW original and one folder JPEG inside which is the result of LR or PS. :)

my personal experience: a long time ago when hards drives were still expensive, i deleted RAW files after edited (of cos, not importants clicks ;) ) Ok back to now, when HDD is less expensive and we got Photoshop lightning room, I prefer to keep almost of RAW files and export only some to...

one thing that i love in portrait people is the sharpness and clarity. If you have too sharpness and clarity, the portrait will not look smooth. :) , i think that your photo is abit too sharp and so much of detail. :)

very interesting review, I'd love to take one and try it out. Since this lens is not as expensive as one 135 f2 L so , if we need something that opens at f2 , i think this lens will absolutly the one we can buy. ;)

+1 for the 70-200. one thing be clear that photo gear decrease their price not as quick as IT gear :D

i have used canon 50mm f1.4 and did compare to the Sigma 50 1.4 , i think that for me , the sigma is sharper even at 1.4 But to compare to the canon 85mm , the 85 works even better than these last 2 50mm lens -one limit is the 85mm stay only at 1.8 and doesn't make some light effect as wide...

bring all your lens and test each :D , i think for golf, we will need a wide or mi-wide lens : some think like 17-40 or 35mm. but if for the ball going, you will need a 70-200mm of course. :D one website that i found great : http://www.golf-kenya.info/# keep update pls.
