From my first ever self developed roll of film taken back in June 2011. Scanned and resized, no PP (other than switching from negative to positive)

With the kind donations of members on here and by utilising freecycle to the max, I run a film photography club with children after school at the primary school where I teach. The children love it (7-9yrs this half term, 9-11yrs next half term) We have made camera obscuras, light pictures...

We had "Tiger turf" installed on the yard at school last year and it is brilliant. It is blue with mazes, zebra crossings, targets, letter sounds, numbers, games etc. on it. It is maintained by the company that installed it (They clean and re-sand it each year) Even after it has been pouring...

I have a senseo machine but haven't bought pods since for ages. I got a coffee duck adapter that lets me use real coffee in it. Fantastic :)

My Manual Focus lenses are M42 lenses with adapter to EOS. I also have a few other mounts, but not FD. Quality is not affected with the M42 lenses In my opinion.

You could consider a Manual focus lens with an adapter. My first 50mm 1.8 with adapter cost me around £30 all in. I've now got loads of lenses (Got to love freecycle) and I love them all (Especially my 55mm f1.4) Warning - they are addictive! ;)

have you tried dialling the settings you get from the first "metered" shot into manual mode and shooting with the flash that way? You can then adjust the settings until you get the desired effect.

Tried them today and the guy couldn't get the spots off. He thinks they are underneath the filter, but he did just use pads and eclipse fluid which is exactly what I did. Perhaps I'll have to send it away somewhere.

There's one in Alnwick, but I don't know if they offer the service - I'll investigate tomorrow. There's a Jessops in Newcastle and a Jacobs, I'll contact them too. Thanks for the advice :thumbs:
