Beginner Kase K9 Filter System and Lee GND Filters

You can get Lee compatible rails from Kase to replace the Kase incumbent rails if you are using Lee Filters. But to answer the second part of the question, yes Kase GND filters are obviously a better fit for the standard rails as very slightly thinner than Lee.

The price increase on CFexpress Cards WOW!!!

You can thank the boom in AI (amongst a few other things) for the supply squeeze causing the price increase globally.

Changing from Sony A7R V to Fuji GFX 100 II

THIS! Or specifically, "you look at a FF image but you look into a GFX one". That's exactly what I mean when I say I'm looking for more feel and texture. Thanks for your comment, I hadn't thought about the Tilt-EVF actually and that is something else to consider. As for budget, not really a...

Changing from Sony A7R V to Fuji GFX 100 II

Actually that is a great help, seeing a direct comparison. The Fuji colours are so much richer, less flat. Hmmmm....

Changing from Sony A7R V to Fuji GFX 100 II

Yes, I use the 24mm Canon TS-E on the Sony, so more T&S options is certainly a draw.

Changing from Sony A7R V to Fuji GFX 100 II

It is both an itch I want to scratch but also it's an attempt to reinvigorate my interest into something that is more challenging by making me slow down and be less trigger happy with a format that has more feel and texture in the final image.

Changing from Sony A7R V to Fuji GFX 100 II

Guys, hold me back, do something. Thinking of chopping in all my Sony gear for a Fuji GFX 100 II medium-format. I shoot mainly landscapes. Someone, talk me out of it...or egg me on, please.

    Misty woodlands

Very nice, but I think cropping off the left hand side 1/4 would improve things, that bent branch on the left is totally distracting....and then crop out the right side 1/8th (the dark bit).

The Photography Show - is it worth it?

I went for many years, but not really good for bargain hunters and tbh if you just want to get hands on kit, you're better off heading to your local independent (if you have one) or failing that, Wex.

Stu McGlennon is halfway decent, a cut above the rest imo.

recomended round ND filter - 3 stops

Another vote for Kase here, been using them since they launched and I currently use the revolution magnetic circular range (as opposed to the 100x100 square system). Makes for very quick swapping of filters, or filter on/off, which I think would be really useful for your chosen subject of sport...

Landscape Photographer of the Year 2023

I've known Terry for years, and there is no way he would resort to AI trickery. He drives a cab and has the camera mounted on his dashboard, has been taking images from his cab using various techniques for as long as I've known him. On the subject of AI, you've got to understand that the likes...
