Thank you! I think you're right ... really, there's always more to learn. I've received my confirmation emails today and have logged into the student area. My course materials will be sent out tomorrow so I should receive them in 3 days ... with the weekend I guess that will be Monday...

I agree about RAW. Using RAW gives absolute control over the developing of the image right down to the finer detail. Also, if you want to re-edit and change things at a later date, having the RAW file is very useful. I consider the equivalent of having the negative with all the detail there.

I've spent a long time today reading this thread and am very grateful for its existence and the frank and open comments. It helped me to make up my mind. I was looking for a follow on from the Foundation in Photography I just completed via the SPI ... and have signed up for the OCA a few...
