    My pet hate has to be.....

    Drivers cutting corners around blind bends. How do they know a bus or a lorry isn't heading towards them? The roads are usually wide enough for large vehicles but sometimes they need a bit of extra room. It doesn't take too much extra effort to remain on the correct side of the road.

    The Wonder Stuff - Size of a cow. I saw them in Birmingham last Saturday. Exactly a week ago to this hour actually. THey were supported by Jesus Jones and Pop Will Eat Itself. It is the loudest gig I have been to.

    Are lenses at F2.8 really necessary?

    As others have said, F2.8 is fantastic in low light situations or even in daylight when you want deep depth of field.
