Thanks for the welcome and advise... It's early days yet (still having surgery) It does look though as if I will need a trigger of some sort to release the shutter... I will carry on reading all the posts, and see if anything comes up... Once I know the true extent of the damage I can be more...

Hi, new here and just finding my way around... I have had an interest in photography for several years now,but after a serious woodworking accident I can no longer press the shutter button on my camera... I will be looking for ways round this, and with your help I will find the right remote...
