Hi Ben, Just dropped you an e-mail about getting a sample canvas. Might sound a bit of a silly question but what size border would you recommend leaving so that part of the image doesn't disappear when the canvas is stretched around the frame? Thanks Francesca

Even though I haven't yet placed my order with them (plan on doing it tomorrow!) bessel's customer service has been superb, can't fault them. Plus if you need a custom sized vinyl they'll alter the size for you free of charge. Always a bonus!

Having not used vinyl before I assumed a white vinyl would still be quite easy to light and crease less easily thus blugging a more even background. Just out of interest is there a reason why you find paper produces a better background over vinyl?

Prints from DSCL arrived today and they look great! No silly colour cast at all. I even sent a few in that were either above the recommended 300dpi or below it and they came out fab too. What a relief!

Thank you for taking the time to reply to me. That does make sense about dscl's own printer profiles. I was panicking that the colour looked all wrong but guessing thats because I wasn't using dscl's paper or inks! Panic over. I've sent some photos off to dscl so will see what they come out...
