It could be something dodgy but at the same time it could just be left there as its not used often, honestly wouldnt like to say either way really but i suppose its better airing on the side of caution
Or yknow rather than go whine to the police the parents could have had the decency to come up to him and ask him politley not to take photos of their daughter?
125s are allowed on motorways just not when they have L plates on, however i would not recommend taking a 125 on a motorway, in headwinds your going to struggle to hit 70 without revving the utter nuts off it and your going to have to pray for your life everytime you get vans and such thundering...
Cbr 600F would be fine, they are actually classed as a sports tourer and they will go forever and ever.
The CBR 600RR is the race bike seating position, i learnt on the sportsbike styled yzf r125 so im actually more comfortable on something a bit sporty, my legs tend to cramp on the upright ones
Cb500 would be a better idea if your going for a commuter on the cheap, 60+ mpg cheap as heck on the insurance (120 quid for a 21 year old with 1 years ncb) my thundercat i wouldnt want to use as a commuter in london but even that gets 45 mpg (or about 12 when on one wheel :P )
For those of us on two wheels the potholes are even worse, cant count the number of people ive seen nearly come sliding off a motorbike due to poor road conditions
Two batteries in a year could be something quite simple, slight wiring problem or a dodgy connection can end up draining the batteries pretty quickly, wiring diagram and a quick check usually sorts it out but if that turns up nothing then the problems start
If your after a decent budget one the binatone ones arent to bad, im not sure how the display compares but mines always used with headphones and in a case since im on the motorbike, seems pretty accurate
If your looking at the BM type i.e. the BMW GS, take a look at the ktm 650s i think it is, hell of a lot cheaper and a much better bike esp in the fact the frame doesnt tend to crack :)
The 125s from yamaha are pretty nippy, mines a bit more powerfull than the ybr but just do pay attention while riding :D i came off mine the other week on a bit of mud that wouldn't phase a car, 150 quid repairs and 2 cracked ribs are a painfull reminder
