I think the reason it looks that way, is the amount of post that has been done. Looking at the guys web site, he seems to do a lot of post and retouching to get a particular aesthetic.
I think the quality of the kit used does make a difference. If you gave a 350D + cheap lens to pro, and then gave him a 5D3 + L glass, the 5D3 setup would result in better photographs. If this was not the case, we would all go out and buy 350Ds and be done with it.
You still have to compose...
I agree with what you're saying. I'm in the process of getting back into photography seriously after a break of many years.
I have always been a big Canon fan, all of my old kit was Canon, and my heart still leans that way. I'm seriously thinking about the 5D3 but was just a bit disappointed...
I accept they must vent in some way, but I can't quite understand why they don't continually fog up on the inside.
And there is plenty of water vapour here in Cyprus, the dams are overflowing, no drought here. :lol:
Interesting question. But if they sucked in air, that would include an amount of water vapour, so surely you would end up with misting/condensation inside the lens.
