Just saw this article about Jessops, apparently they've filed for voluntary liquidation, they say it's just a process to "de-listed from the Stock Exchange" but sounds a bit fishy to me. Read here

As with many people here, i have 2 7dayshop equivalent nikon batteries, and there's really no difference (apart from costing a fraction of the price).

Have just ordered a no frills Panasonic charger from 7DayShop for £2.99 including delivery, it's nothing special, but has got some good reviews. Thought it was a pretty good bargain. Link

I have the Nikon 12-24 f4, I too don't use it that often, but when i do it produces great results, pin sharp, no noticeable distortion, a great lens.

Oh, it's the AF-S that I had until recently, so ignore my earlier post. I sold my 300mm AF-S on fleaBay for £700 a week before xmas - lovely lens though, i highly recommend it.

I have the Tokina 100mm macro, and I love it. Just thought I'd throw that out there. Although I only use mine for macro, not as a portrait lens.

Until very recently I had one of these beauties. I loved it. Pin sharp but not hugely quick to focus although very accurate. I used it mainly for motorsport and occasional wildlife. I didnt ever try it with the 1.4x, but sure it'll be a great combo. Example pic here...

Good idea, I'll keep an eye out for the magical 'Fab Foam', I like the idea of being able to roll it up and keep it in my bag - card or paper ones are easily creased.

I tried forcing a sony memory stick into an SD card slot once - snapped the sony memory card, no damage to the camera thankfully.
