Energy usage - how much gas/electricity do you use?

1930s double brick 3 bed semi, large modern single storey rear extension kitchen/family room is mostly used. Just the wife and I plus dogs and cats(great lap warmers) gas for hot water and heating, electric shower. Heating mostly used if friends or family visiting as we're happy with a fleece...

Smart meters, good, bad or ugly?

I've had a water meter for years and the savings were significant straight away, As I turned my garden from mostly grass to beds and boarders I have 3 large water butts that if used sparingly can last nearly a month in the driest of weather's so I very rarely have to use mains water plus I never...

Smart meters, good, bad or ugly?

Smart meters, good, bad or ugly?

Bulb kept asking politely but I just ignore them. Takes a minute or 2 to put the readings in on the app once a month as the meters are easily accessible inside.

@Spiderdudeuk that's a lot of work in a very short time. I'll probably wait till the end of the year for the left forearm. I don't think I'll go for full sleeve but something to tie the upper and lower together.
