Just Think. If Trump wins the election it'll be the first time in history that
a white billionaire moved into public housing vacated by a black family!
Had a day playing with CS6. What will they come up with next. Main thing for me is the interface matches Lightroom and images now go into PShop without the "use RAW 7" message and keep adjustments.
It seems to run much quicker but I think I will just wait for the Raw 7 download and not fork...
Just a few from my morning in Kings Lynn. These can be printed at a standard setting on an ink-jet or laser printer on any media. I usually use paper from artists pads or prepared for acrylic to give the "painted" look. Popped into a cheap frame it means that it costs about the same as a...
To all those kind folks who take the time to comment on others postings may I thank you all for your time giving us "umble folk so much pleasure.
A Pingle House Robin feeling the cold.
It is surprising how much more useful the larger screen is when you have tabs open either side of your image - or in my case when working on an image in "shop before dragging it over to a document in InDesign. It is one time when size does matter . . . although most chaps seem to boast how...
I have been using Apple frombefore Mac's were invented and having to deal with various PC'S I WOULD NOT CHANGE. My present iMac is neat and now I don't need the pure power and expansion of the tower type - with added memory handles Photoshop, Lightroom, Indesign and Acrobat Pro all at the same...
I think my Nettar was about £15 -20 range . . . a fortune to a 13 yr old and the retinas were in the £40+ market - well out of my reach.
I was getting my 40D cleaned at Norfolk Cameras the other day and realised I had not put a film through my Rolei TLR (F2.8 planar) so I will let you know how...
I was having to make the same decision back in 1953 - - - but pocket money restricted me to the zeiss nettar (without a rangefinder so I clipped one in the flash slot). I still have it over 50years on and it still works. Was scanning some negs from it taken in 1957 for an old school friend ...
If I had made a comment like that to or about a patient I would have been struck off the professional register! They are both over paid and on a great ego trip and should be taken of the air! Save the license payers a fortune! How would they like to have been accused of sexual assault of one...
Like many of you I started with "wet" photography - in my case a 1/4 plate camera of my father's in 1948, and still get the same pleasure in creating an image. Recently I went back to Shere and re-took an image of the church that I took on a 12 on 120 Nettar in 1955 still having an old print...
Lightroom is great to use and it prompts to backup each week, but as far as i can see there is no way it offers the user a choice to back up at other times - old age has taught me to follow a belt and braces approach and I would like to backup to another drive.
