    Chester Zoo: animal identification required!

Not sure if this is the right place to create this thread - if not, mods, please move to wherever is more suitable. :$ On a recent trip to Chester Zoo I foolishly didn't make notes at the time of what I was snapping. Any help identifying any of these would be appreciated. Thanks...

Yep, been having the same problem here since yesterday evening. Was hoping it'd be resolved by now.

    Nikon D3xxx owners thread

Cheers for the response. As it happens that's the only one of the three that falls above my budget new, will have to keep a look out for one second-hand.

    Nikon D3xxx owners thread

Hi, Just wondering if anyone has any experience with either the Nikkor 55-300, Nikkor 70-300 or Tamron 70-300 VC with a D3100, and if so, if it's been a good one. Currently looking to upgrade my 55-200 non-VR and looking most closely at these options. Thanks in advance.

No more DTM in UK, NL and ESP

Nope, never saw Euro Racecar on the support package - although this year's SpeedFest with them headlining looked pretty awesome. The most interesting support series I saw was the World Superside Championship in 2007.

No more DTM in UK, NL and ESP

Brands Indy was always a pointless place for it. Went the first two years in 2006 and 07 before the novelty wore off. And as for the support package - there's only so far you can tolerate a 40 minute F3 race around Brands Indy! :tumbleweed:

    Nikon D3xxx owners thread

Bit late joining this thread, but a (relatively) new and very happy D3100 user here. Very glad I made the step up from a ageing bridge to this. My only regret is I wish I'd done it years ago. :)

D3100 advice: "Subject is too dark"

I haven't got quite that advanced yet! Though the way it's going I may not need one...

D3100 advice: "Subject is too dark"

Thanks for the replies, everyone. Very much appreciated. Shutter speed was 0.62 sec, aperture f/4.5. EV was neutral for it. Yeah, though I did think I wouldn't need to up the ISO too much as... It's a daytime shot.

D3100 advice: "Subject is too dark"

I just tried again shooting earlier and got this: http://tinypic.com/r/aahjr7/5 Shutter Priority, f4, 1/50, ISO 100 I can't for the life of me see why it's so dark. Whereas in aperture priority (OK it's blurry - which is another issue) I get something like this...
